Making the most work for God

PRE-CONVENTION WORKFORCE CONVOCATION AND IMPARTATION – SATURDAY, 18TH NOVEMBER 2023
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S): 1 CORINTHIANS 15:58
MESSAGE TOPIC: MAKING THE MOST OF WORK FOR GOD

MESSAGE OBJECTIVES:
1. Understanding what it takes to make the most of our work experience with God
2. Understanding what it takes not to labour in vain

It is possible to claim to be working with God and not make the most of that work
It is possible to claim to be working with God and actually labour in vain, labour to no profit. 
May that not be our portion, in Jesus’ Name.

HOW TO MAKE THE MOST OF OUR WORK FOR GOD:
1. Make each day to count for God (Eph. 5:15-16)
Don’t just labour religiously; labour impactfully.
When the day has passed, be able to give a full account of the passage of that day
This also refers to your relationship with God
Work for God does not only stop in the church, work for God continues in your office.

2. Never be tired of doing the right thing (Gal. 6:9; Heb. 11:6)
You can do the right thing too little but you can never do the right thing too much
The temptation to be tired will come (Gal. 6:9)

3. Labour in the help and grace of God, not in the strength of the flesh (Acts 26:22)

4. Robe your labour with prayer and fasting (Luke 2:36-37; Matt. 9:36-38)
Every assignment in the Kingdom is spiritual, and because it is spiritual it requires spiritual input, namely fasting and prayer.
You don’t have to be a preacher before you pray for the service.
Fasting and prayer is a department of service (Luke 2:36-37)
Robing our assignment with fasting and prayer is necessary for:
i. Effectiveness of your assignment, 
ii. Dealing with the forces of the enemy, and 
iii. The growth of the work you are involved in.
Any assignment that you are involved in that is not growing is an inditement 

5. Labour reverentially and in the fear of God (Heb. 12:28-29; 1 Kings 18:21)
Serve God with a conscience that is alive and awake
Let nobody be confused as to who you are, especially outside the Church; don’t serve God and be a crook, drunkard etc…

6. Labour with Love both for God and for man (1 Cor. 13:1-3; Matt. 24:12)
One of the worst things happening in our world today is the bankruptcy of love
Anything you wish you had a received in your life that you didn't ensure your children don’t lack it

7. Labour in the service of soul winning (John 15:16; 2 Pet. 3:9)
Soul winning is the heartbeat of God
If you can’t evangelise you can at least share a testimony
Any service you do that does not translate in people coming to the Lord, that service is not complete.
The assignment of evangelism is not only the assignment of the pastor but the assignment of every born again child of God

8. Labour in sacrificial giving (Matt. 6:21; Ps. 22:30)
Labour in covenant practice
Anything that does not touch your resources has not touched your heart

PRAYERS:
Father, I ask according to Your Word that my expectation shall not be cut off Lord in Jesus Name (Prov. 23:18)

Father, everything that belongs to me that has been diverted since this year started or even before this year started, I declare restoration, Lord in Jesus Name (Esth. 8:1-2)

Father, I receive what You have in store for me today; release upon me today Your Word for me today, Lord in Jesus Name.

Father, I come before You today, thank You for Your Word on making the most of my work for You; I appreciate You Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

Father, we ask that Your Plan, Purpose and Agenda for Your church, Dunamis, and her members worldwide will take root and take hold of the lands unto the ends of the earth, Lord in Jesus Name – Job 38:12, 13. 

Father, we ask that the rule, reign and dominion of the enemy be dethroned this day for Your Church, Dunamis and her members worldwide, Lord in Jesus Name – Matthew 6:10. 

Father, we ask that the plan, purpose and agenda of the enemy this day for Your Church, Dunamis and her members worldwide be completely frustrated, Lord in Jesus Name – Matthew 6:10. 

Father, fulfil this scripture (Exodus 23:25-26) in the midst of Your people in Dunamis, Lord in Jesus’
 Name. As we serve You with our lives, we refuse to cast (lose) any one young Lord in Jesus Name.

Father, fulfil this scripture (Isaiah 65:19-20, 23) in Dunamis, Lord:
Only the voice of rejoicing and joy shall be heard in Dunamis. The voice of weeping and crying shall never be heard in Dunamis forever, Lord in Jesus Name.
Let longevity, the heritage of covenant people be visible throughout Dunamis worldwide, Lord in Jesus Name. (Isaiah 65:19-20, 23)
Father, Dunamis is blessed of the Lord, and longevity is the portion of the seed of the blessed. Let every seed/soul in Dunamis experience their heritage of longevity, Lord in Jesus Name (Isaiah 65:19-20, 23).

Father, we ask for the addition of souls for this week, this month and for this year 2023, into Dunamis before the year is over; we ask that everyone You have designed to be added to Dunamis and be discipled, we receive them now Lord in Jesus Name (Acts 2:47).

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
- We have not served God in vain, you will not serve God in vain!
- We have not served God unto no profit, you will not serve God without profit!
- All those who are saying where is your God, they will see your God in this season!
- This last part of the year shall be your best part of the year!
- The blessing that comes with service is released upon you this year!
- I decree the arrest of every curse on your life! It is broken!
- You will not lack bread or water!
- Every sickness in your body is taken away!
- You cannot die before your time!
- Anything that will make you celebrate this year, may it happen for you this year!
- You will not serve God and regret!
- The grace to carry out the instructions you heard today is released upon you!
- Every man, woman, or loved one that is a concern to you, that concern is handled today!
